Seamus Duggan moved to Guernsey over 20 years ago and now combines running Pier 17 with raising his 2 boys, Ciarán and Callum, along with his wife, Kim. Born in Ireland, where he was brought up in the restaurant business, Seamus is first and foremost a talented chef who instantly made a name for himself when he arrived on the island.
Originally from Lancashire, Head Chef Chris Reid has been Seamus’s right-hand man at Pier 17 for nearly a decade. Chris has been passionate about food all his life and his creativity with the island’s high-quality seasonal produce ensures that our menu is imaginative, fresh and inspiring, all year round.
Restaurant manager Kamila has been at Pier 17 for over two years and has been popular with our customers since her very first day. Nothing is too much for Kamila and her team, who makes sure the service we offer is world-class from the moment you arrive.
